She was very emotional at the dress rehearsal. She kept telling herself that on her wedding day she would think of jellybeans, bologna sandwiches, and mimosas. And she did. She was the perfect combination of beauty and joy!
Mary Lou and Oliver opted to do a first look. She told me later on that evening that she wasn't originally completely on board with it, but trusted me completely and went with it. She said that she was sooo glad they did. It got rid of her nerves and allowed more time for pictures. She said that she thinks every bride should absolutely do a first look! I told her I was going to quote her... and I just did! Yay for first looks!
If you remember, June 29th was one of 3 days that the temps reached 118º in Phoenix! We went as fast as we possibly could for a few pictures and then moved most of the pictures inside. Thank goodness the IronOaks Country Club had beautiful indoor light! Robyn who is the coordinator for the country club did a great job making sure everything went smoothly for their day!
Mary Lou is an occupational therapist and Oliver is a pediatric endocronoligist. Somehow between patients they are avid runners. I love how they incorporated their love of running marathons into their wedding.
A huge thank you to my awesome team: 2nd shooter LaTricia Soucy and 3rd shooter Jonathan Brewster. (Yes, that is my amazing husband!)
