His hockey playing took him to Iowa. It was there in the hallways of high school that their lives would become intertwined. Later, a long distance relationship made them better than ever. She's an Arizona girl at heart. His ranching work has them living in California, but when we talked about their engagement session, her reply was, "Desert. Definitely desert." So that's what she got. Plenty of that gorgeous Arizona desert in the spring. Spring can also bring.... rain. And 30 minutes into our session we got rain and wind that forced us to meet back up the next morning. They compliment each other well and I can't wait for their fall wedding.
