Missed connections. It took several attempts before they were finally able to meet for a date. During one of those dates, Danny was telling Colleen how he had the nickname "Birdman' because birds liked to poop on him! Like something out of a romantic comedy movie, a bird pooped on him just as he was finishing his story. They have spent time getting to know each other through camping and hiking and eating Backyard Taco, one of their faves. They even have call names for each other. Danny says they work well at life together.
When Colleen goes hiking she is always on the lookout for heart shaped rocks. Danny gave her the ultimate heart shaped rock!
