A Black Tie. A groom in a Black Tie. A Black Tie wedding. Nothing will make my heart skip a beat more than a classic Black Tie wedding. I just about died and went to wedding heaven when Kristen and Michael walked out in this classy combination for this styled shoot at the Firesky Resort in Scottsdale. Kristen and Michael were just married a couple of months ago so not only are they newlyweds who could "bring it," they are a real life couple as opposed to models. Kristen stunned in this Enzoani designed wedding dress provided by Uptown Bridal. Kelly Wisniewski gave Kristen a polished and natural look for her makeup. The beautiful pop of color in her bouquet provided by Jan Dekker Designs was exactly what this combination needed to complete the look. I recently attended the United 2015 conference. This was a little bit smaller and not as overwhelming. It had such a community feel to it. This was the first of three styled shoots I chose to do. This one was led by the adorable Abby Grace of Abby Grace Photography all the way from DC. The original plan was to go out to the desert for this shoot but with 100% chance of rain... and a wedding dress on loan... well, we played it safe and stayed at Firesky. And I'm soooo glad we did. This lush green resort made it easy to shoot in the rain with all the cover it provided. Arizona is known for it's wide open spaces so there aren't a lot of resorts that can let you pull out some stunning images in the case of rain.
