One of the best things I ever did was attend this workshop back in 2009. It was sponsored by the Arizona Professional Photographers Association and they brought in Don Macgregor from British Columbia. We all headed to Sedona to learn about the art of posing families. This is what I cut my teeth on for photographing families. It really is an art and has been the basis for all my family sessions ever since. Bad posing will look overly posed and just make for a bad picture. Don spent time helping us understand why certain poses work and why others don't. Every time I've had a family session I have been grateful for the foundations that I learned with Don.
