Today is the big day! And just in time for the 2014 wedding season. I am so thrilled with how it turned out. It's been a long time coming and it's finally launched today! Carly at Playful Pickles Designs was the creative lead on this project. It was so easy working with her as Carly is the one that did my last site design! She has been amazing in breathing life into it and interpreting what was in my head. The inspiration behind the design was Tiffany & Co. I feel like it matches more of the aesthetic of my work and embraces what the future has in store. I'm most thankful for this fresh start and to have you along for the ride!

Oh my goodness. These girls. I can't believe how much they've grown up. I started taking pictures of them when they only had 3 girls. This year we took their pictures at their beautiful new home. And if dad looks familiar, he owns Walker Orthodontics and has been on here before as the best orthodontist in Phoenix!
When we finished, they did a quick change into their Halloween costumes for their Great Gatsby theme!
AZPPA Workshop for Families [Gilbert Professional Photographer]
One of the best things I ever did was attend this workshop back in 2009. It was sponsored by the Arizona Professional Photographers Association and they brought in Don Macgregor from British Columbia. We all headed to Sedona to learn about the art of posing families. This is what I cut my teeth on for photographing families. It really is an art and has been the basis for all my family sessions ever since. Bad posing will look overly posed and just make for a bad picture. Don spent time helping us understand why certain poses work and why others don't. Every time I've had a family session I have been grateful for the foundations that I learned with Don.
Christmas Card Sessions
It's that time of year. The rush to get family pictures done for Christmas cards. This year I'm going to offer something a little different- the Christmas card session. Completely different from my regular sessions, these will be a 15 minute session to get just that one family picture you need for your Christmas cards at an affordable price. As long as you don't need a variety of poses, this is perfect for you.

Newitt Family [Gilbert Family Photographer]
It was the perfect time for family pictures. Their oldest is leaving home and their second oldest just graduated high school. They knew it would probably be one of the last times that they have all their babies at home and have them to themselves. I know their family will have great adventures waiting for them!
Tori was graduating high school that week, so we did a quick mini-session just for Tori.
