They met at Bible College and were attracted to each other by their mutual love for their church. With a traditional courtship they have come to know and love each other completely. They love discussing theology and spending time in a bookstore. He loves her helpful, adventurous, and thoughtful personality. She loves his spontaneity, tenderness, and goofiness. Together the are culinarily incompatible-- but that's about the only thing they don't have in common.
The day started at Ashley Castle. While both bride and groom were on premises, we did a constant dance of hide, no seek, as they did not want to see each other before the wedding ceremony.
Elizabeth gave her groom this inscribed pocket watch as a wedding gift.
Ashley Castle provided a beautiful backdrop for all the wedding images!
Elizabeth made her own wedding dress!! Hellllloooo- my skills are limited to sewing on a button!
Dad was caught more than once getting emotional and rehearsing his speech!
Samuel's reaction of seeing his bride for the first time as she walks down the aisle.
They chose a reading from Ephesians Chapter 5 and a unity cross instead of the usual unity candle. It was a beautiful reflection of them!
Yep-- every time they kissed the flower girl went something like this!
Read what the frame says. Go ahead, read it!
